Memphis Zoo will Offer Camel Rides this Spring

The Memphis Zoo will be offering $5 camel rides this spring. This is something new the Memphis Zoo will have for its visitors.

The camels are trained by Olympia, Wash.-based Camels Unlimited, a company specializing in camel rides. The four camels coming to Memphis — Crockett, Mickey, Luke and Cotton — have been part of similar attractions at the Dallas Zoo, Great Plains Zoo and Living Desert Zoo.
Beginning March 3 through October 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.the camel rides will be available. The camel excursion is a wonderful addition to the Memphis Zoo!
