101 Things To Do In Memphis #63: Crawfish Festival

by Melissa Thompson

This event is nuts. It’s a million people, a million pounds of crawfish, streets full of vendors, art, music, and activities. It’s chaotic (especially later in the day) but in a fun way. Think of it as the official start to Spring in midtown. This year the event benefits A Betor Way non-profit.

They will tow your car if you leave it in a lot in Overton the night before.

Saturday April 13, 2019
noon to 6 p.m.

Chimes Square 2101 Madison Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104

The opera celebrates the stories of service men and women, and our Festival will do so as well. Add a concert by the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, aerial performers, panel discussions, cabaret and cocktails, and we have the makings of an incredible seventh year in the heart of Memphis!
